Declaring Psalm 36 - Filling our hearts with Prayer & Praise!
Today let's purposefully turn our minds toward the Lord. Let's not waste all the energy we have for the day on struggling with our own issues. I don't know about you, but I sure get tired of focusing on myself and whatever circumstances I may be facing. Life is a journey of highs and lows, and sometimes even potholes. But no matter where we are at, we can take a moment to pause and get perspective. Let's look up from our work, the endless to do list, any conflicts, sickness, or decisions we're facing, and focus on the beauty of creation and the wonder of the heavens. God is still on the throne! He owns a cattle on a thousand hills! We can receive His endless supply of strength, grace, health, peace and wisdom, when we humble ourselves and call out to Him. He never tires of us, our needs, or our weakness. He is waiting to fill us with His abundance, and all that He is!
Let's Make Psalm 36:6-9 our prayer...
“Lord, I thank you for protecting me and keeping me safe from harm. How priceless is your unfailing love to me! Let me find refuge in the shadow of your wings. Let me partake in the abundance of your house, and drink from Your river of delight. I ask for more of You, Lord, and that Your fountain of life would flow through me. Only in the clarity of Your light, am I able to see light. Open my eyes, that I would see You today. Please remove anything hindering me from experiencing your love and seeing Your faithfulness in my life. I lift up my eyes to You today. All praise and glory belong to You.Amen!”
